Question

Publishing to Flash with Scorm problem...

I have a C2 file that contains 4 flash animations. It publishes just fine to flash and plays back ok when not using scorm.

When I publish this same file to flash with scorm output selected, a zip folder is generated containing the html file, the main swf file, a skin file, a .js file, and 3 of the 4 animation (swf) files.

Why are 3 of the 4 flash animation files being stripped from the main captivate swf file? When I play the main swf it runs ok, except it doesn't show the 3 animations.

Thanks,

Dave K

Dave,
It might be the Flash version your Flash animations are published as. Those published for Flash Player 8 are "kicked out" during the publish process as external movies. Those published for 7 or earlier are embedded in the main movie. So, that might account why some play and some seem AWOL.

I'm not 100% certain I understand whether the externals got included in the ZIP. If not, I'd try manually dropping them into that ZIP to see if that helps.

If they're in the ZIP but not playing, then I honestly don't know off hand why that might be. Perhaps someone else will chime in with an idea soon.

Yep, That is what it was......

Swf files were in Flash 8. Re-published to Flash 7 and all is well.....

Thanks,
