Publishing to TC75 Android mobile device, text entry box won't limit to numbers

We have developed a course for Android handhelds (TC75). Setup a text entry box and limited it in the properties to accept only numbers. Works fine when previewed on laptop, but when published and tested on device, the TEB is no longer limited to numbers. The alpha keyboard appears and the TEB will accept any entries.
