Question

publishing to video

I am having problems publishing my captivate 9 programme into a high quality video to show on big screens.   I have tried resizing to 16x9 which created a corrupted programme. I reverted back to my original file (I had made a copy) but now every video i publish is corrupted.

The output looks great in SWF but I can't seem to share or send that to anyone to view.  Help.

Are you able to articulate exactly what you mean when you say the video is "corrupted"?

It creates a video when I try to clip on "Open Video" Quick Time will not play it - says it is unsupported... This work when I did the original versions that looked low res.  Also, I tried to put it through Media encoder which would not upload it saying it was corrupted.   When I dropbox the video for review ... the reviewers get corruption not downloadable messages.

    Does that help?

Wow- thanks for responding so quickly.

To my knowledge it would create MP4 container. Is that what you are seeing? QuickTime is just one possible player. Have you tried using something like Windows Media Player? Well, if you are on a Windows system anyway. If you are using Mac, I'm not sure what players Mac would offer.

Can you share the video? If so, I'd be happy to see if it opens on my system. I'm Windows myself, but video should be video and be operating system agnostic. If you want to try that, use something like www.WeTransfer.com and send to my email address of rickstone1975 (at) gmail (dot) com.
