Publishing to WebFTP in Captivate 9

Hi all,

I had never had issues loading published files from Captivate directly to WebFTP until I added web objects, specifically YouTube embed codes(I tried the YouTube widget with the same result). I have an account with Dreamhost, which uses Pydio, and I cannot get a successful publish. I can get a successful preview hosting locally, but no luck publishing through Pydio. It won't even upload all the files. I get a message about and issue with a file path for a png file, I believe it's the png file, wor_clicktoload play button. I don't know. I'm lost right now. Anyone experience similar issues?

If this is HTML5 output then you need to ensure that the web server is set up to allow the JSON mimetype.  JSON files are now used for many of the default images in Captivate's current HTML5 output, including PNG files.

I published it as an SWF output. I checked and the server is set up to allow json. Thanks for the head's up on that. I should have noted what the output was in my initial post.

Sadly, still no luck.

The need to allow JSON files on the web server is only applicable to HTML5 output, not SWF.

I suggest you just publish your content locally and then upload it to your web server AFTERWARD via some other means.  Forget about trying to publish directly to FTP from Captivate.
