Publishing to Youtube throws off audio/video after compression

I have my audio and video in sync satisfactorily, but when I publish the video to YouTube, the compression puts the audio behind the video.  Is there anything I can do to remedy this?

Try publishing just to MP4 video, not directly to YouTube. If your MP4 publishes correctly on your machine, you can upload to YouTube manually.

Erik, thank you very much for the reply.  I just tried it, but the saved MP4 still ends up with a lag between the video and the audio.

I've put the audio file on the video and I've also tried it by putting the audio on the slide.  Is there a preferred method of one over the other?  I will try the slide again tomorrow, but so far, still no joy.

'keyframes' are used in video to keep audio/video in sync.

In the publishing preferences, see if there's a way to increase the keyframe rate.

Additionally, if you Captivate project consists of several slides, be sure there's a bit of buffer between each one.

At minimum leave a second of empty space at the beginning and end of each slide's timeline.

You may also consider a 5 second title screen between each AV slide to give the project a chance to...breathe
