HI

I have recently created a simulation project on Captivate 8 for software which is used on a browser, my browser settings are for IE9.  when I published the project in HTML5 format and sent it to the client they said that because it was created on IE9 and they were on IE7 and 8 they were unable to see the project.  I would have thought that the version of IE should not make a difference.  Can you please let me know if it does and what my alternatives are to allow the client to view the project.

Many thanks

You need an older version of Captivate, or maybe try publishing to SWF because those old IE versions do not support HTML5 at all.

Thank you Lilybiri, older version of Captivate not an option, the client wanted HTML5 option moving forward.  Looks like they will have to update their IE versions.  I will try SWF for them and see the result.  Thank you for your help.

That is really strange, they want HTML5 and use a browser that is not supporting HTML5
