Question: Buttons don't work until advance past and then return

Working on a very basic Cap 7 project.  The third slide in from the beginning is a menu slide with 7 buttons that are linked to other slides later in the deck.  When I preview the project from the beginning and use the progress bar to go to slide three, none of the buttons work.  But if I use the bar to progress past slide three and then return to it, the buttons all work!  Any ideas out there?

Hi there

Hard to say what the issue may be. Are you able to upload and share a screen capture of the slide in question? Also what do the buttons do?

Thanks, but I think I have it sorted out.  Somehow for the last button the "include in quiz" box was checked in the  "reporting" property drop down.  This caused the slide to interact with some of the other settings; e.g. the control bar was set to not appear in the quiz slides and because one of the buttons was reporting, the control bar did not appear on the slide even though it was not a quiz slide.

I unchecked the box and all of the issues went away.
