Windows 7. Captivate 9. Desktop PCs.

Hello,

I know that I can display a web page in a Smart Shape, but can a program be run in a similar fashion?

I have three databases that it would be useful to access on a slide, two of them are intranet pages and one is an in-house executable.

Thank you.

Peter.

Yes Peter, I've had some success showing an Adobe Flex 'Rich Internet Application,' published as flash SWF, within a Captivate Web viewer. Of course, this is dependent on Flash support, so it wouldn't work for HTML5.

I'd say that as long as your web applications and the final published Cp project are 'in alignment,' you stand a good chance of success. I.E. an HTML5 web application in a HTML5 Cp project, as opposed to a SWF based RIA published as a CP HTML5 app to iOS.

Of course the specifics are based on the standards supported within Cp for their web viewer.
