Question : CP9 : Can I disable the "Do you wish to view output" message?

Hello,

The information dialog that appears after publishing always asks "Do you wish to view output".

I never want to view the content, and so click the No button.

Is there a way to disable this message?

I have looked in the General Settings / Confirmation Messages but cannot see an option to switch it off.

Thank you,

Peter.

I know of no way to remove this option.  Feel free to log an enhancement request with Adobe if you want, but I think most people that publish WOULD be wanting to see the results, so I doubt that there would be a lot of other similar requests.

    Rod,

    Thank you for the reply.

I have set up my Publish folder as a //localhost to mimic my real server.

So instead of using Captivate viewing, I use to localhost which allows me to test the project with the other projects it links to.

I guessed that wanting to disable the "Do you width to view" dialog was a long shot!

    Thank you.

    Peter

I do something similar.  But I still think people like you and I are waaayyy in the minority when it comes to the total population of Captivate users.  One day maybe...
