Question Pool - retaking the quiz gives different questions

Hello

I am using Captivate 6. I have made a question pool of 15 questions but the user only completes 5. As the user has to pass the quiz with 80% to complete the module, we have put in the option that enables the user to retake the quiz to achieve this pass mark.

However, whern you retake the quiz the same 5 questions they have previously seen are shown again.

Is there a way to produce 5 different questions for the question pool when they retake the quiz?

Hello Hannah,

What you could do is set the multiple attempt in the question itself so you control the pass % at the question level. If it is at the quiz level, you can set the Pass required parameter in Quiz Preferences.

This is very restictive and defeats the purpose of a quesiton pool. When user retakes the quiz after 1st attempt the course needs to always change the questions where a quesiton pool is in place. Vish the issue is not to enable multiple attempts itself, its to change the quesitons which currently is huge limitation of captivate.

Unfortunately no.  Unless they relaunch the entire module they will see the same questions drawn from the pool each time they reattempt the quiz.

If you'd like to see a different behaviour for this, you'll need to add your voice to the many that have logged an enhancement request for this same feature.
