Questions cannot be answered

A mixed presentation of information and quiz questions will sometimes freeze the questions saying "this question not answered fully" before the user has actually tried the question - and will at this stage not allow the questions to be answered. Once the session has frozen in this way, all questions are unanswerable. It does not happen for all users and does not necessarily happen in the same place. I am using Captivate version 3. Any ideas to resolve this would be most welcome.

    I have had this issue before.

    It seems that as soon as you move forward using the control bar, it locks down all the questions. Check if this is the case for you as well.

    Whenever I create a test, I don't display the control bar. But in your case this may not be the best solution.

    Thank you for getting back to me, Helga. My problems seem to occur not with the control bar but when I use the back buttons and go back before a previously answered question - then it seems to think the quiz has been completed and as you say locks the whole thing down.
