Why is the published answer white on a white field? When I'm working on the course, the letter is blue and readable.  Thanks for the help!

Please log this as a bug. It's been around for many years now.    (There's a Bug Reporting link in the Captivate Community page.)

It only shows up when people like yourself happen to use a dark background for their quiz questions.  But it still shouldn't happen.  Captivate's quiz questions need to have a lot more control over formatting of certain elements.  The inability to easily change the Answer Text rollover background colour is another example.

Hi RodWard, I appreciate your thoughtful reply.  I am baffled that even when I change my background, the situation does not correct.  Now that my background is white, I now additionally can't see the white A) B ) C) before the answers and there seems to be no way to select and change them to a different color.

Sometimes you can get them to fall back into line by clicking the Reset Master Slide button on the slide's Properties tab.

You can also try selecting the Answer Text captions and look in the Properties tab > Style Name field to see if there's a + sign in front of the style name. If there IS, then that means some modification to the styles of those text captions has taken place.  You can use the little drop down menu at the top right side of the Style Name field to Reset the Style and it might resolve your issue.
