Ok please try this one below and hope this will help.

Reduce all the elements of the object to the below 1 sec in the timeline by dragging all objects individually.

Is the action on the button to continue, or next slide or jump to slide?

If it is continue, it might be that the timeline is stopped mid slide, and by clicking the button, you are starting the timeline and you are seeing the rest of the slide play.

    To say it another way:

If the slide is 10 seconds long, and the pause point is at 5 seconds, and your button's action is "Continue." Then you have to wait 5 seconds for the current slide to finish playing before moving to the next slide.

There is nothing in the timeline about this button.

The entire slide timeline is only three seconds in length.  So the issue cannot be that clicking the button is initiating playback of a longish timeline after the button pause point.

In fact you can see from this latest screenshot that the pause point of the slide is pushed right over to the end of the three second timeline duration.  (Normally it would be in the middle at the 1.5 second point.)

I would suggest that you upload this module to a web server or LMS and test it from there.  The issue may be due to something on your local system.  If it behaves the same way from a server, your project may be corrupted in some way and you could try copying all slides over to a new project shell to see if that improves matters.

What you are showing here could just be server latency.

Is this content being served from an LMS?

No, its on my desktop for testing, not on a server.
