Quiz buttons disappeared

I am using captivate 9 on windows.

I ran an update last week.

Since the update, the quiz buttons in my responsive projects appear when editing the course, but they do not appear when I publish the scorm file.

I checked and the quiz buttons still appear properly when I publish my non-responsive projects.

Did something change?  Can anyone provide advice as to why the quiz buttons would not appear at all?

    If you are using eLearning Brothers templates (which are really themes), you'll have to read this blog post:

    Missing Captivate Quiz Buttons? We Can Fix It » eLearning Brothers

    The problem was the use of system buttons instead of transparent buttons like is the case for the included themes.

    Did you find any resolution?

    You mention you have the most current patched version, did you follow the process to rebuild your cache from the release notes?

    This is their release notes page:

    Release notes for Adobe Captivate 9.0.2

    You should clear out your cache. (You can try this without reinstalling.)

    To clear your cache, with Adobe Captivate running but no projects open...

    1. Click Edit / Preferences (Shift + F8)
    2. Click on the General Settings category
    3. Click the Clear Cache... button
    4. Click OK

    When you performed the update, did you follow all instructions in the Release Notes from Adobe about resetting your Preferences and Layouts folders etc?

    If not, Google for links to these Release Notes for Captivate 9.0.2 and perform the necessary steps.
