I have designed a quiz for my workplace where I teach

I want the students to take a 20 question quiz but I just want to submit on each slide and dont tell the student the outcome untilt the end

How do I remove the "Correct - Click anywhere or press '' to continue"and the "Wrong" answer flags

When I click on the properties button for the slide I dont get anything on there - you used to get the caption tick boxes there but now I cant find them

Thanks in advance to the community

Richard

Are you new to the setup of Captivate's quizzes?  I have published many blog posts about the default setup and the tweaking possibilities. At this moment the eLearning portal has issues, lot of the posts are there. Maybe later on I will able to post some links.

You want to skip the second step of the process where the feedback captions appear. Indeed, you need to take them out, so that the slide will not remain paused but the actions for the Success and Last Attempt event will be executed immediately. By default they are set to 'Continue'.

Taking out the Success caption and the Failure caption (which could be shapes, not captions) is done in the Quiz Properties panel:

If you want to shorten the duration after the pausing point of the quiz slide, you can drag that pausing point near the end of the slide, but not completely till the end (could cause issues).

The shown screenshot is for an individual question slide.

Alternative: delete the captions on the quizzing master slide(s). However: be careful because you'll be editing the theme used for that project. You may want to either clone the original master slides or save everything in a custom theme.
