Is there a way for the email that you receive when people answer your quiz questions to be more legible. It is a pain to have to look through something like this to find a few simple answers:

When I try to use e-mail reporting, I get no content in the body of the e-mail, even when trying the samples from Adobe's site. Is there an issue with Flash 8 or running the tests locally?

When you say remove any surplus paragraph marks, you mean just manually deleting all of the excess stuff that isn't the actual quiz results? I can do that for sure if there aren't any fast options. I will be getting a LOT of quiz results back so a manual process like that would probably waste too much time. I may not have understood you though. I followed you on the MS word and Convert text to table part.

    Hi Brock22,

I would agree that this would be a time consuming method with LOTS of emails to process. I'm afraid I don't have a simple solution for you.

If you have Ms Office Professional with Ms Access you could use Office Automation to open your emails in Ms Access, extract the Quiz Data using VBA code and then save it to an Ms Access table or an Excel spreadsheet.

Here is a link to an article by Helen Feddena that may help you get started http://www.helenfeddema.com/Files/accarch15.zip

    hope this helps

    kind regards

    Hi Brock22,

The Quiz Data seems to be in Comma Seperated Vale (CSV) format.

You could copy the data set into Ms Word, remove any surplus paragraph marks, then use the menu option Convert Text to Table.

That should give you a clean formatted table with your quiz results.

    hope this helps

    kind regards

    Malcolm

I used Javascript in the HTML page to parse the content of the body of the message into an array. Then I reconstructed the body of the message using only selected elements from the array.
