Quiz max points discrepancy

I have a project with 10 questions. Each question has 1 point. The advanced interaction confirms I have 10 points.

The Quiz Preferences however, show there is a maximum of 17 points.

I have tested the project and it does indeed behave as though there are 1o points.

It showing as 17 is misleading and I suspect future confusion and issues.

Any idea how I get it to show as 10 in the Quiz Preferences please?

If you're still seeing this issue after the update, you should check the Properties panel of buttons, you may have some buttons with Reporting turned on, and you should deselect the Include in Quiz checkbox.

I think this example would produce the extra point, without affecting the reported score:

@BDuckWorks: did you see first screenshot? It shows the Advanced Interaction panel, where you see all scored objects, and the correct total score. This shows clearly 10 points, so none of the interactive objects has a score that is added to the Total score.

You probably missed that screenshot. I never did see this happening for me, it is a very weird bug, probably without any consequences but shouldn't appear in the Quiz settings.
