Quiz message of retry

I created a KC with 4 possible answers.  Only one is correct.  For each answer selected I give individual feedback.  This quiz is NOT recorded.

Every time I open my captivate file to make updates, the "Retry" message is checked off and the "try again" message appears.  How can I disable that for this project?

I want to explore more, but think there is a bug.

For sure, you cannot choose 'Continue' nor 'Go to Next Slide' for advanced answer setup at all if you have more than 1 attempt. It would mean that when the user clicks for the second attempt, it would be interpreted as the second step in the Submit process, and the playhead be released. That would mean that it is not possible for the user to have multiple attempts.

Normally I would set the advanced answer action to 'No action', maybe with the exception of the correct answer, where either 'Continue' or 'Go to Next slide can be appropriate. I expected however that the actions on question level (in the Quiz Properties panel) for Success and Last Attempt would be done, but that is not the case. If the user fails three times, he is just stuck on the slide.

I am on that version.  I have the action set to "continue" as Paul Wilson had it since the learner gets 3 tries.  I will see how it works with next.

You did not tell about 3 attempts! I supposed you had only 1. I understood

that your issue was that the settings were not preserved when you reopened

the file. Did I misunderstand?

I wanted to double-check, and I cannot reproduce this behavior. I created a MCQ with one correct answer, unchecked Infinite attempts, left it at 1 attempt. I configured each answer to have a dedicated feedback message with Advanced Answer, and set the action to go to Next slide. I saved and closed the project, when reopening everything was still the same.

Can you check the version? I am on 9.0.1.320.
