Quiz Open Question - entering a lot of text

Hi,

I am working on a module for studying language. The idea is to present the learner a lot of text, which needs to be translated, typed in and submitted for the teacher's review.

How can I change the way the text entry box appears on the screen? At the moment, even if I change its size, the text is still entered as 1 line, no wrapping available.
