Quiz question numbering incorrect

Hi,

I have in my project one quiz with 3 questions and an assessment with 6 slides. For the assessment, I disabled the option to grade them.

In the project, on the top right of the quiz question I see correctly 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3 Screen Shot 2016-12-09 at 17.46.24

But when I preview the project, I see instead 2 of 9.

Anybody knows how to fix this?

Thanks!

Some Quizzing system variables take into account all questions, scored or not. That is what leads to your experience, because cpQuizInfoTotalQuestionsPerProject is one of those system variables. I created a table explaining all system variables, which you can download for free from:

System variables in Captivate 8/9 - Captivate blog

A way to fix it is to create a custom progress indicator.  Here is a work flow you could use:

Customized Progress Indicator - Captivate blog n A

Or you can choose to have an Absolute instead of a Relative progress indicator, leaving out the total number of questions.

Thanks Lily. Since you have been so helpful on this and other questions, I'm wondering if you could help on this as well: https://elearning.adobe.com/discussion/2248505/
