Quiz question submit button must be pressed twice to continue

At the end of a module I have a 4 question quiz (2 multiple choice, 2 T/F).  In both the preview and published quiz, the user must hit the submit button twice in order to go to the next slide.  I can't figure out why this is the case. I've written up the quiz properties and preferences, below. Does anyone know what's causing the problem?

Clear and Submit are the only visible buttons

Action

On Success: "continue" or "go to  next slide" as well as "continue." Either way, user has to press the  button twice.

Attempts: 1

Failure levels: 1

Last attempt: Continue

Interaction ID follows the form: TBI_incidence

Quiz Preferences

Reporting is enabled, by email, attachment

Reprort: Pass/Fail, Quiz results only, interactions and score

Show progress

Allow backward movement

Progress type: Relative

Shows score at end of quiz

Allows user to review quiz

Hi Johnsonlm

It may be that the submit button is "submitting" on the first click then moving the slide on for the second click.

Try clicking the submit button once then clicking elsewhere on the slide to see if the slide advances.

It may be that your "Correct" "Incorrect" "Try again" pop-ups are hidden or have dropped to the back of the slide beneath something else, as these include instructions to "Click anywhere or press 'Y' to continue.
