Hello Again,

While working within captivate 6 quizzing functionality I came across this helpful video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vw9wcgup4s8&feature=related

This video speaks to the ability to set a quiz question such that if you answer wrong it will send you to the slide that has the information you need on it then send you bank to the quiz question to try answering again.

I have looked at how he has done this and tried to copy his actions but I have yet to achieve the same results.

Is there an impornt piece of information he is missing or a property that needs to be set somewhere else?

Please help me make what he does in this video reality.

Thank you.

Hi,

Aright.

Please confirm if you have tried these steps or not?

1) Choose the Slide on which you want the User to go/jump on giving a wrong answer.

2) On this 'destination' slide from Step 1, insert any interactive objects-- Click box, Button etc.

3) Set the Action on Success for this object as -- Return to Quiz.

4) Go to you Question Slide, (assuming, you want the user to read some content on a slide chosen at step 1), you can choose a option and go to Properties -- Advanced Answer Option OR you can direct the user to content on    failing to answer it. Choose you case from Quiz Properties/ Option Properties-- Choose action as -- Jump to Slide from Step 1

Now, while view the Quiz, depending upon your condition, if the user selects a certain option for Question, then he would directed to the slide on which you had your button/Cick Box placed. Now he can read it all over again and click on that button, and he would be taken back to his Question Slide.

Let me know if you are able to achieve it now?

Thanks,

Anjaneai

Everything you typed makes sense to me accept for the following

4) Go to you Question Slide, (assuming, you want the user to read some content on a slide chosen at step 1), you can choose a option and go to Properties -- Advanced Answer Option OR you can direct the user to content on failing to answer it. Choose you case from Quiz Properties/ Option Properties-- Choose action as -- Jump to Slide from Step 1

Are you stating that on the Question Slide I can:

      1) Select an answer, go to properties and set advanced action to action - jump to desired slide?

      2) I can go to Quiz Properties and choose last attempt jump to slide desired slide??

Please clarify
