Quiz Reporting for Test Item Analysis

I'm looking for some information on what information Captivate reports to the LMS regarding quiz questions.  I understand that each LMS will be a little different, so I'm not looking for too many specifics, just some general information.

What I specifically want to know is if Captivate will report information on what the learner submits for an answer to individual quiz items.  We want to be able to do test item analysis and, my first step, is to figure out what Captivate sends before I figure out if our LMS will interpret it or not.

Thanks.

Jay

Captivate CAN send this kind of information if you have Interaction Data turned on in your Quiz > Reporting dialog.  But (as you have stated) whether or not your LMS is capable of giving you reports about this is another matter.

The interaction data about which answer option the user selected is not really in a very user-friendly format.  If you want to see what this data looks like (buried inside all the other data being sent to the LMS) just upload a SCORM zip to SCORM Cloud, complete the module, and then look at the interaction LOG file that SCORM Cloud offers via a hyperlink.  That will give you a good idea of what you will end up having to work with.
