quiz result slide captivate

Hi

I am a beginner on captivate?

In my template, I have 2 press questions and at the end 5 quiz questions.

When I finished, the slide result was OK but now, i can't obtain the right result : it seem only 1 question is incorporated in the result.

When I publicate the template (flash), the questions doesn't appears as 1/5,  2/5 but 1/1, 2/1... 5/1. It seems that I have only a question treated.

 

What i wrong ?

    I have identified the cause of not working slide quiz result : when I cancel the 2 pretest questions, all is working perfectly.

    Now a new question : do anybody have a solution ? because is very useful to have some questions at the beginning as sensibilisation inn a e-learning ?

    If you are using Captivate 9, just use Knowledge Check Questions as your earlier quiz question slides.  These are not counted as part of the quiz.

    There is some confusion about words. Are you creating a template, which means a cptl-file? Or are you talking about a Captivate project (cptx) that will be published to SWF?

    Is it possible to look at the Advanced Interaction panel (F9) to see which questions have a score that is added to the Total score?

    If you are on Captivate 9: are you sure to have inserted normal question slides, not knowledge slides? You can recognize KC slides at the special icon in the Filmstrip, the indication 'KC' on the Quiz Properties panel and the fact that they cannot be graded.

    I have seen the panel in your answer to an old thread, but it is better to continue here.


    From that panel I conclude that you have two Pretest questions, no normal questions at all.

    Moreover, you didn't post the whole panel, look at the top part where you see the 'Total Score', it will be set to 0.

    I created a captivate project that will be published to SWF?

    I sent you the interaction panel. they are normal questions : i never used for now the knowledge questions and I can decide how many points for each question.

    There are NO normal question in the Advanced Interaction panel. I see two 'Préliminaire', which I suppose to be Pretest questions, but no normal questions. Can you post a screenshot of the whole panel, because it didn't show the Total score which is at the top of the panel.


    Some quizzing system variables do count the sum of the Pretest and Normal questions, which is the case for cpQuizInfoTotalQuestionsPerProject. That is what you are probably seeing in the Progress indicator.
