Quiz results and continue button question

I am currently using CP7, and have created a quiz.  Once the user completes the last question the next slide give them the option to return back to the last slide of the learning (so they can navigate further back if they wish), or continue.  There are some other javascript features on this slides as well like being able to email feedback about the course or contact others......(pretty sure this is an unimportant detail).

If the user continues it goes to the captivate quiz result slide.  I have hidden the continue button in the scrap area and given the user instruction to close the browser, which then brings them back to the LMS which seems to be completing the course fine.

Is this an ok practice?  I read around in the forums and it seemed like maybe this wasn't a good way to complete a learning module.  Anyone have any feedback or experience that could shed some light on this?

Thanks

Brian

Normally that Continue button, as most buttons on the question slides, as an essential functionality: when clicked the actions that you specify in the Quiz settings for Success/failure will be executed, and the quiz is considered finished. I would certainly not recommend to take that button out. If you do not have the default score slide, the actions will be executed after the last question slide, but you tell that you have a score slide. Create at least a custom score slide, if you do not want to have that Continue button. You mention JS, which is not at all an unimportant detail. If you want to replace the built in functionality of the score slide that way, it is OK for me, but don't use that score slide in that case.

Thanks for the feedback...you confirmed my assumption that this could cause problems.  I will rethink my ending to make sure it doesnt present any problems.

    thanks
