Quiz Results now working

For some reason my quiz results slide does not populate. Does the captivate project have to be published in an LMS in order for this slide to show actual results? Or is there something that I forgot to configure in quiz preferences?

The screen that you captured shows the results slide in authoring mode, are you previewing the file or have you published to a webserver or LMS?

You may get some quiz functionality if you preview the files locally, but for most of the Cp functionality, your best best is to publish to a webserver and / or an LMS. (Obviously, LMS Reporting capabilities won't work on a typical webserver, but you can create a SCORM.COM account for testing.)

When you preview the project (best in Browser or HTML in Browser depending on the wanted output) the fields containing system variables will be populated with the results of the quiz.

You don't have to publish for that at all. For the published file if you configured the Reporting, you have to upload to a LMS, if you didn't activate Reporting a webserver is another possibility.
