Quiz Results Slides not reporting.

Hello,

I'll keep the OP concise and try to respond to any feedback the community is able to provide because that's how problems are solved. I'll preface that I'm personally more familiar with Storyline 2, but the PM has a bias against it, so I've been constructing my modules in Captivate 9. The issue arises when I try to create an assessment. I insert my question slides, fill out the form selecting the number and variety of questions I need; that works fine. The question slides themselves work fine; I can edit the questions, answers, layout, etc. But the Results slide that was added automatically, and doesn't work. Regardless of whether I publish and view on the LMS, publish and view locally, or preview in CP9 the results slide doesn't work. All of the possible categories are either blank or 0. I have created a completely new project in captivate, populated it with default question slides and the automatic default results slide and the same result.

I have viewed other forum posts here and abroad that describe almost the same issue. But they are either for Captivate 4-7 or went unanswered. The Advanced Interaction display (F9) appears as the moderators/admins have said it should in those various posts. What solutions could I try next? What steps might I have missed? What information can I post to help me get an answer?

Thanks in advance.

Pretest slides will be included in some quizzing system variables but they will never have scores in the score slide. If you want to create a custom score slide, you'll need to use the dedicated Pretest Quizzing System variables. The normal quizzing system variables like cpInfoPercentage and cpQuizInfoPointsscored do not include the results of Pretest slides.

I know that the Advanced Interaction is confusing here.  Have a look at my articles about the quizzing system variables and download the descriptive list where I tried to explain more in detail the meaning of each variable:

Did you perhaps insert Knowledge Check slides instead of normal Question slides?

Can you post a screenshot of the Advanced Interaction panel?

Did you perhaps delete some of the embedded objects on the question master slides or the question slides themselves? Embedded objects have no individual timeline.

No. I inserted them as Question Slide and selected "pretest" in the prompt.

And maybe, but that doesn't explain why the results slide aren't working on any new projects I create.
