Quiz slide numbers not correct

Captivate v5.5

I created a project in v4 that had some click boxes and then some quiz slides and I have enable the "show progress".

I upgraded the project to v5.5 and on reaching the quiz slides their numbering is all out of sync.

I recall this was something to do with there being check boxes in the project - but for the life of me I cannot remember to make sure the quiz progress does not get mixed up with the check boxes.

Can anyone please remind me how to correct this in v5.5 /

Noel

Hi Noel,

Check the Advanced Interaction panel (F9) where you find an overview of all scored objects. You'll have to disable the reporting/add to score for those objects that you do not want to include in the Quiz total. Beware: this panel is not active, you cannot edit there. It is linked to the Properties panel, so you can leave it open, select an object and change immediately its Reporting properties in the Properties panel, reporting accordion.

Hi Lilybiri,

Just to be sure I made myself clear and am reading your helpful reply correctly.

The problem I am having is the slide numbers on each quiz slide..1, 2, 3 etc - not the quiz total (score).

When I view the first quiz slide instead of displaying "1" it displays "6" and so on.

Will doing what you suggest in the Advanced Interaction panel (F9) fix this - or does that impact the score on the test results slide ?

Sometimes I do not understand a question correctly, but here I'm pretty sure about my answer.

The progress indicator (your question numbering) takes into account all what is included in the quiz, so if you have 3 interactive objects before the question slides that are included the first real question will start as number 4 and the total number of questions will be equal to the number of questions slides plus the number of all interactive objects included.
