Quiz slides freezing.. need help!

hi all,

I have an issue where at what seems to be random questions, a question slide will freeze after you have selected your response and clicked submit.

it will briefly bring up the message telling you whether you were correct or not but then it quickly disappears and does not progress to the next quiz question.

As we have disabled the navigation bar on the bottom it then leaves the user stuck and having to restart whole module, but usually with the same issue again at a different question. Is there a way to rectify this at all?

Hello,

Normally after clicking on the Submit-button, the Success/Failure caption will be shown with an invitation to click anywhere on the slide or press Yes to advance (to the next slide). Could you check the captions (Quiz Preferences, Default labels)? Or did you change the actions on the Question slide on 'If correct/wrong answer' (Options in the Properties)?

Hi Lilybiri,

yeah we made changes so that the skip and back are no longer available, plus we changed the wording slightly to the Correct/Incorrect captions.

Below is a screen shot of how we have the quiz pages setup. The 'Lock it in' substitutes the Submit button as an image button.

I just tried doing it again from scratch but it still seems to be a problem.

Hello,

CP waits for the 'Y' or the click on the slide to go on. This trigger is logical because the user needs some time to read the Success/Failure captions. So you could perhaps include this extra message in those captions: "When you are ready to go on, click on this slide". Could this be a solution?
