Randomize position of drag and drop elements

Randomizing the start position of draggable items is a pretty common assessment strategy.  It's clear that this was an option with Captivate at one point (see Using Interactive Drag and Drop Widget | Infosemantics Pty Ltd ), but I can't seem to find this option in Captivate 9.  Is there a "randomize initial drag positions" option anywhere in this newer version of Captivate?  Both Swap places and anywhere on stage would be fantastic.

The great widget you are pointing at, was not included in Captivate but developed by externals (not for free). I'm sorry to tell you that the built-in Drag&Drop doesn't have that functionality.  The former widget is still available but output is SWF only. The D&D in Captivate can be used also for HTML but doesn't have some features like that SWF-widget. I agree that it would be a great improvement, can you log a feature request?

The options you refer to are still available with the Infosemantics Drag and Drop Widget (which is what the links you show in your post were about).

Before Adobe added native drag and drop capability to Captivate in version 6, these widgets were the ONLY way to achieve drag and drop in a Cp project.
