RE: Making Simulations Accessible

I work for a community college, so everything I create has to be accessible. I am supposed to make a Captivate simulation accessible and I don't know where to start. For example, I created an email simulation where the user has to simulate attaching an email. In order for it to be accessible, the user needs to be able to perform these tasks by tabbing rather than with the mouse. How does a designer do this? Someone suggested creating layers. I am fairly new to Captivate and havent used layers; I dont even know if Captivate has layers.

Does anyone have ANY information on making demonstrations in Captivate accessible. ANY information will be helpful.
THANK YOU

No Captivate doesn't have Layers.  That's an Articulate Storyline thing.

Trying to make e-learning content accessible is quite a task. And there's no way we can do such a topic justice in a few comments on these threads.

Adobe has a special page about it here: Adobe’s accessibility documentation

If you want more information, there's a whole chapter on the topic in this e-book: http://www.infosemantics.com.au/troubleshoot-adobe-captivate
