Re-taking a quiz after failing to complete within the default "3 Attempts" setting

All our modules conclude with a quiz that is set as 3 attempts to pass

If the user fails to pass within this setting, at this point we use one on one coaching to rectify the issue.

However how do I then allow the user to retake the quiz after the one to one coaching, keeping in mind my modules are presented within a learning program so I want the user to be able to retake the module in the sequence of the learning program.

At the moment although the user now understands where they were going wrong they can't even proceed to the next module because I have set up my course catalogues so they cannot skip modules & I can monitor that they have fully understood a process before moving onto the next one.

I still want to have this control but also have the option to allow a user to retake a quiz module after the correct counselling - is this possible??

Please Help!

If you are using bookmarking in a LMS, you will need to deactivate that feature to allow the user to retake the quiz after all Quiz attempts are exhausted.

Thank you for your response.  How do I deactivate the bookmarking?

I have deselected the options that were ticked under the Advanced Settings box within Quiz Preferences - is this correct?

Thanks Again

It is under de Advanced button in Reporting (under Quiz Preferences). You have to check the option 'Never Send Resume Data'.
