Recording stops when minimizing Adobe and looking at script in Hotmail

How do I change that back so I can look at script on an e-mail and Adobe will continue to record.  It used to work but something changed and I don't know what.  HELP PLEASE!!!

    When you set up the screen capture make sure you choose "screen area" and not an "application". What is happening is you are choosing to record an application and when you minimize it it stops recording. Choose screen area and anything you put in that area, will be recorded.
