recording variables between sessions

Hi,

I have a scenario in which I have multiple modules in different branches and connected to a menu slide. I have used single quiz with branch awareness for all the quizes each module has a different pool.

Now I basically want to add completion data (Like No of slides visited and Quiz results) on the menu slide for each module. I am well versed with variables and advance actions so can visualize how to do this.

Problem is what will happen between the sessions. Like if user has completed 1 Module and partially completed 2nd module and 3rd Module and exits the training when he will logged into the LMS, I can by the quiz results pull up that he has completed Module 1 but how can I pull up that the user has viewed 5 slides on 2nd Module and 8 slides of 3rd Module?

    I answered in another thread about Branch awareness created by you. Now reading this question I suspect you misunderstand the goal of Branch awareness. If you could read my blog post?

      If all of these 'modules' are actually within a single CPTX file then as far as Captivate is concerned you really only have a single quiz and your LMS will only get one score at the end.  You may think of them as separate modules, each with their own quiz but a single SCO can only have a single quiz according to the SCORM standard, and that's the way the LMS will see it.

      If you want separate modules all reported separately by the LMS then you need to break your course up into separate CPTX files and use the Multi-SCORM Packaging tool that comes with Captviate to bundle them all together in to a single SCORM for upload to the LMS.  Then you won't be using a menu slide to reference the modules.  You let the LMS player TOC links provide navigation.
