Recording window won't close

Adobe Captivate 8. Trying to add audio recording to slides. I open the recording window and can record but the "Close" button does not appear and I can't close the window. How do I fix that?

    1. Close Captivate.
    2. Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 8 x64\utils and run the CleanPreferencesWin.bat file. This will clear preferences.
    3. Launch Captivate.
