Remove mouse over text from menu?

Hi there forum :)

A menu can be created for a project (Procejt > Skin > Menu). When you later use the menu in a published movie, and hover with the mouse within the menu, a mouse over text shows. That text seems to be exactly the same as the menu itself. I think this dubble menu text is unessecary and disturbing.

Do anyone know how to remove this mouse over text in the menu?

Many thanks in advance,

    Hello tykebrahe,

As far as I know there isn't a way of removing the menu tool tips, from the Captivate menu. If you own Flash and and feel comfortable editing ActionScript code then you could export your Captivate project to Flash 8 / MX 2004 and remove the tool tips that way.

    Regards,

    Hi tykebrahe

In addition to my fellow Adobe Community Expert Mark's fine words, you might also want to alert the development team that they should provide us an option to turn these off. You can alert them by clicking here and completing the form.

    Cheers all... Rick
