Question

Remove review checkmark/cross

Hello,

I am having some issues with Captivate 7. The main issue is the images during review. Correct/incorrect answers get a checkmark/cross before the answer and the question. I would like to change these images to different sizes and/or positions, or perhaps get rid of them all together and use the review area. But I don't know where to change them. These are the checkmarks and crosses I am referring to:

There are some other things I am having problems with. If anyone can help me out with these, it would really be appreciated.

- When hovering over answers in a quiz, the answer is highlighted with a gray bar. Is it possible to change the color or get rid of the bar?

- Is it possible to change the color of the blue bullet when clicking an answer? If so, how?

- I have created custom buttons and put them in the master slide. When I apply the master slide to the question slide, some buttons change size. I can easily change them with the 'apply to all items' option, but why does it change the buttons size (and sometimes position) in the first place?

- Also, I was wondering why it is not possible to have partial scoring enabled in a question pool. Is there a workaround that does not involve advanced actions?

In the SWF output, Captivate does not offer any way to customise the position or appearance of these icons.  If you are using HTML5 output, you can try playing around with replacing the icon images, or modifying the CSS code that positions them in the final output.  But Captivate doesn't offer you any way to do this through the application interface itself.

The colour of the rollover effect on the answer options is also not configurable.

Some quiz questions allow for partial scoring, some don't.  Try looking into partial scoring for Multiple Answer quiz questions.

I need an SWF output, so changing the HTML is not an option in this case. Perhaps for future quizzes.

I have looked into partial scoring. I need Multiple choice/answer questions for my quizzes with question pools and partial scoring. I know this is not possible, but I was just wondering why.
