Remove Video from Recorded Software Simulation

Hi All.

I recorded some software simulations, but for two slides, I only need the screen before I click a button and after I click the button, and I don't need the video to show the button click. Is it possible?

Question 2: Is it possible to not let the slide advance automatically for recorded software simulations? As there is a lot of information on page, and I want the user to see the information on the screen carefully before they go to the next page. Of course, I can set the duration long enough, but that is not good.

Question 3: After I click a button, sometimes the cursor move slightly before advancing to the next page. How to avoid this?

Thank you very much.

I suspect you are talking about a cptx, not a cpvc-project. In that case can you look in filmstrip if the click is on a separate slide? In that case you can delete just that slide.

Automatic advance would mean that you captured a demo simulation. To keep the slide paused you have to add an interactive object, can be a click box, a button, a shape button. Make sure they are timed for the rest of the slide ( CTRL-E on its timeline) and that the pause is near the end of the slide.

If you want this on all slides, the quickest way is to have a pausing shape button on the used master slide, which is the Blank master slide in any theme for software captures.

Apparently you have buttons? Check its success action. if this is Continue, change it to Go to Next Slide. With continue all the frames after the pausing point (inactive part) are visited.

Hi Lilybiri, thank you very much.

Question 1: This is not what I meant, but anyway, I found the way to export the background image, and then create an image slide from that image. In this way, I got rid of the video.

    Question 2: Answered.

Question 3: Not answered. I've uploaded a video to show how it happens. Sorry that I had to blur most of the screen. Before clicking the Cut Off button the second time, the cursor moves slightly. How to avoid it?

I never did see this movement myself, could see it in your video. Are you sure there is no FMR-slide (short one)?
