Repeat Caption for Click Boxes

I want to give the user the feedback that he has clicked on the wrong spot but that he has more attempts left to click on the right spot. How can I do that? According to my training material for Captivate 3 there is supposed to be a field "repeat caption" in the Options (in German Wiederhol-Nachricht) but I cannot find it for Click boxes.

Welcome to the Captivate Forum.

The Click Boxes allow for feedback. Double-click the click box and then click the Options tab. You can then activate the Success Caption, Failure Caption or Hint Caption. Once the captions have been activated, they appear on the screen and you can put any message you want in those captions.

You may also want to click the Show hand cursor over "hit" area so the user knows to click there.

Hi there

To babafan01, the multiple failure captions only apply to question slides. You are able to specify up to three different "failure levels" and see a different caption for each level. This does not apply to Click Boxes. In order to get that behavior, you would need to duplicate the slide a couple of times. On Successfully clicking the Click Box, skip over the next couple of slides. On a failure, present the feedback and move to the next slide.

Rinse and repeat... Rick
