Report LMS quiz/project total time user took to finish

Question

Hello.

Is it possible to create a project that reports to LMS the total time an user took to finish the project or quiz questions?

Where I work, they are trying to make some kind of contest where the winners are who finish the course/quiz first.

Is it possible? I've been checking some blogs but they the posts are from 5 years ago and I'm not sure if they still work. I'm still new learning advanced interactions, so I'm a little bit lost.

You are talking about two blog posts I created a while ago indeed. Yes, they will still work, those system variables are all available in more recent versions as well.

Problem is that you have to be sure that the value of the user variable can be reported to the LMS.

I tested it and had a couple issues. Even though I have it to display for the rest of the project, it stopped after the first occurrence.

And, when it displays in HTML5, it looks like this and only on the second slide.

I'm sure I'm missing something.
