What is the difference among the various Report Data choices in Quiz Reporting Preferences --
User Access Only
Quiz results and slide views
Slide views only

How does Captivate knows if a slide has been viewed or not -- don't see this explained in the Help menu.

    Welcome to our community, Jay

As Captivate is offering this as an option, I would assume that it is simply considering that each slide is considered to have been viewed if the playhead has reached that slide and it has been presented in the browser or viewer.

    Cheers... Rick

Does the report data option "Quiz results and slide views" under Quiz Reporting Preferences in Captivate 3 only apply to the quiz oriented slides (e.g., question slides and result slide)? I built a course that has simulation and image slides that proceed a 5 question quiz. I want the student to view all the simulation and image slides then take the quiz. When a student views some of the simulation slides then exits the course, they fail. I was expecting incomplete. In Articulate there is an option that the student must view all slides and pass the quiz in order to pass or complete the course. I was expecting similar behavior but didn't find this true. This made me think that this option only looks at the quiz oriented slides. Since the student never viewed them, it sent back failed. As Jay indicated, the Captivate Help was no help in explaining these Report Data options.
