Republishing old Captivate files?

I know this question might annoy some. lol But here it goes.

I have not had an active version of Adobe Captivate for a few years. Having said that, I now would like to republish some old Captivate files so that I can get the tables of contents to show, as well as export for different scorm packages.

Can this be done by a old account of Captivate? Do I need to set it to trial version again

Told you you'd be annoyed. lol

    Correct answer Lilybiri

    I had a subscription license.

In that case you need a new paid license if you want to open older projects and republish them. A perpetual license is no longer available at this moment, only subscription licenses.

First question: did you have a perpetual license for that old version or a subscription license?

If it was a perpetual license you can open the projects in that old version and republish, provided it is still compatible with your present OS.

Why would you publish with a trial version? That would mean that the published output would expire also in 30 days after publishing.

I used to pay monthly for Adobe Captivate. I ended my subscription a few years ago. Is that what you mean by a perpetual license?

Edit: I just looked up perpetual license so the answer is no, I did not have a perpetual license. I paid monthly.
