Reset incorrect questions after a forced return to start of course

Hello,

I have a course that requires the questions to be placed throughout the course, the request is that the users are only able to get the question incorrect once, then if it is incorrect on the second go they are automatically returned to the beginning of the course, when they go back through the course they should not have to answer any previously correct questions only those that were incorrect or they have yet to answer.

The issue is that I am unable to get the incorrect question that caused them to be returned to the start to reset. I was able to set a up similar course by using advanced actions and widgets in Captivate 5/5.5 however none of these now work in Captivate 6.

Does anyone have any suggetions on how this could be done?

Thanks,

If you want to start creating custom question slides, have a look at this list with some blog posts I created about custom questions:

If your user has exhausted their allowed attempts on a quiz question slide, the only way to reset the question is to proceed to the Quiz Results slide and use the Retake Quiz button to reset all questions in the quiz.  So your wish to go back to the start after some question midway through the quiz is not going to work with standard Captivate quiz slides.

You might be able to achieve something similar by creating your own 'quiz' slides using interactive objects and widgets that are compatible with Cp6. Then you have more control over resetting the question because it can usually be manipulated with user variables and advanced actions.
