Hi,

What is the optimum / best  resolution to use for setting up projects? I also find that when I publish the finished project to SWF, I lose the quality, its out of sync and its too fast. What am I doing wrong? Using Captivate v6.0

Thanks in advance

The correct answer to your question is: "It depends..."

You need to know your target audience and what resolution, browser, browser toolbars, LMS etc that you are building for, and then work out from that what your ideal Captivate screen dimensions need to be.  It's not going to be the same for all clients, and there is no "best resolution" across the board.  You need to do your homework to find out what it will be for you.

If you're losing resolution with SWF output it sounds like maybe you are NOT displaying it at exactly 100% of the build size.  Are you using the HTM and JS files that Captivate produces to display the SWF, or are you linking to it directly?

    Hey there,

Thanks for response. When I start a new project, I tried the resolution of 800x600 and also tried 1024x768. I think internet browsing is more 1024x768, right? When busy with the proj, I capture video using the proj resolution. Can i post a "work in progress" so you can see what it looks like?
