Resolution not proper when creating a simulation

I am attempting to create a simulation, but when I preview it, the resolution is way off.  What am I doing wrong.  I have chosen application region, but in the preview, it is only showing me a small portion of the screen.

    For any software recording (video demo or software simulation) you need to set the display percentage to 100%. With the present high resolution monitors the OS will often increase that percentage to make text etc readable.

    Depends on your OS of course. Google for display settings.
