(Resolved) Publishing HTML5 online

Hi all, dunno if this is the right place for this. I'm attempting to publish a project to my website. I followed the steps listed here: Uploading an e-learning module to your website | eLearning. Everything ran smoothly, the files are being shown in the subdomain I created. But when I copy the index file url and paste it (removing the ftp and public_html stuff) it says 404 file not found. I am also using bluehost as well. Any suggestions or reasons why I would be getting this message?

Edit: So I removed the index.html at the end of the link and it worked like a charm. Not sure why, but that's the solution.
