Responsive Design in Captivate 9 not responding in Break Points

My responsive project isn't scaling between break points. I create in desktop but when I go to tablet view, my text wraps around, doesn't scale down to fit in the new size text boxes, pictures / images have moved and some haven't scaled. I haven't changed my break points, just using the ones that are already in C9. Not sure what I'm doing wrong? Do I need to change my master slide and set font size / style in preferences before beginning?

Also, when I publish in Desktop it looks fine on my computer but a co-worker opens it on his and the text is off in some screens, pictures have moved...

Is this your first responisve project? An important question: is the used theme a responsive theme? The components in a theme are the Theme Colors Palette, the object styles, the master slides, the skin and eventually the Recording defaults? All have to be responsive.

Font size is not rescaling in between breakpoint views. You have to set up the style for each breakpoint.

For other items everything is controlled by the setup in the PositionProperties panel.  Did you set that up in a proper way? You can make lower breakpoints different from the primary, did you do that?

Yes, this is my first responsive project. I’m not using a theme or changing

master slides, as every background is a different photo image and changes

during the audio of each slide. The recording defaults have not been

changed. Should I be changing the Object style manager?

How do I set up styles for different breakpoints within the same project?

Is there a blog I could refer to?

Position Properties Panel....can’t find it. (Sigh, I have SOOOO much to

learn). Is there a blog for this one too?

You ALWAYS use a theme! Which theme do you use, because it is important that it is a responsive theme.
