    Hi there

The only way to move from one project type to another is to create the desired project type first, then carefully copy and paste assets from one project to the other. There is no option I'm aware of that you choose and poof! The project is converted.

I believe the ability to create a template only applies to the typical Demo or Simulation type of projects and not to Responsive.

However, you could design a Responsive project that you would use as a starter. Just copy it, then rename it and use it like a seed for more projects.

Further to other answers on this. When I contacted Adobe I got the Save As option. So what I decided to do was use variables.

I instructed my team that there is a "template" but you must select File> Save As first, then update the Project Info under the file tab, which is your metadata for the eLearning module.

So when the Project info was updated with the new title, it would replicate into the title slide and also the certificate I created from scratch at the end of the module. So users would add their name on the title screen using a variable and this would populate their certificate at the end of the module, with the title of the module and the date of completion.
At least then it has the functionality of a template.

    Hi Rick

This what I thought was the case. I have spoken with my client and advised them that I will supply a MASTER files which they will Save As. In the MF will be all the screen types they have requested.

Clients need to be educated to the difference of a MASTER File and a Template

    Many thanks
