Responsive Text has no Transform Apply to all option

I've just installed 2017 and converted an older project to a responsive one. I have titles on about 80 slides and want to change the text size on one slide and "Apply to all items of this type" but that option isn't there in the responsive project. Am I doing something wrong? How can I modify once instead of 80 times? Thanks.

The work flow with fluid boxes is different from the work flow with Breakpoint views. Did you look at some tutorials about using Fluid boxes. Since fluid boxes have several limitations, you probably will have to change other things before being able to add fluid boxes. Forget the myth that conversion is done in minutes, that is not the case.

Fluid boxes cannot have groups, no stacked objects, no line shape, no highlight box, zoom object, rollovers... to mention some. That has to be cleaned, before you can try the option that will suggest Fluid boxes. Static fluid boxes have less limitations but they are not that 'fluid'.

As for text: normally it will rescale smoothly between devices. If you created the old project based on a good custom theme, changing the font size, which is now only necessary for desktop is just a breeze using the Object Style manager.

I found the solution for changing text position on all slides and for anyone else who needs it: The "Apply to all items of this type" has moved to the Position tab.

But this doesn't change text size on all slides...

I tried to explain, but didn't succeed. The Position Properties have no meaning anymore if yoy are working with Fluid Boxes. Maybe you should switch to Breakpoint views, but it will mean more work. It is up to you what you want to learn.

I'm not using Fluid Boxes on this project. Just positioning objects relative to other objects.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't use themes to control the text size in this project so unfortunately it looks like I'll have to do it manually. Now that I know how to change the positions easily it's not as bad a job as I thought.

I thought you wanted a responsive project? In that case you first have to choose the work flow: with Fluid boxes, Position changes make no sense. You can use guides to help eventually. Or are you with Breakpoint views? Don't waste time doing things that will not give any result.
