Restarted Quiz Freezes

After failing a quiz, some learners will close the window instead of retaking immediately. If/When they do this, when they restart and return to the quiz the 1st question slide appears, prepopulated with their previous answer and the Submit button is not functional. They are stuck. Clearing cache/cookies in Chrome does not resolve the issue. Any advice on how to resolve this?

    Some missing information here, probably why you didn't get an answer yet.

    Are you reporting to a LMS?  In that case bookmarking is taken care of by the LMS and cookies have nothing to do with that.  That is only the case when you do not use a LMS and bookmarking is set up with the TOC.

    From what you tell, it looks like the learner is still in the Quiz scope when returning, and in the same quiz attempt. Did they visit the score slide? How did you set up that slide?  Did you keep all the embedded objects on the results slide? Did you preview multiple attempts on quiz level?
